CDL, Hong Leong unit snap up Amber Park for $906.7m, setting new record for freehold property sold en bloc
Amber Park, a District 15 freehold condominium at 14 and 16 Amber Gardens, was bought en bloc by renowned Singapore developers CDL and Hong Realty.
The collective sales price of Amber Park at $906.7 million is calculated to be about $1,515 per square feet per plot ratio (psf ppr).
The new project, with a land area of 213,675 square feet, will remain named as Amber Park. The freehold condo, which is situated between Amber Road and Amber Gardens, will have a total of 592 apartments comprising of 1 to 5 Bedrooms and 4 Penthouses. The 2 identical towers with iconic semi-circular balconies of the old Amber Park will make way for 3 new gleaming residential towers linked at the 22nd Storey.
Slated for completion around 2023, the development will be within 5 minutes walk from the upcoming Tanjong Katong MRT. The sea-facing condo is also within a short walking distance to the East Coast Park.
The architect for the Marine Parade Condo is Chan Soo Khian, of SCDA Architects. He has grown SCDA Architects over the past 2 decades to a company that presently hires over a hundred 100 architects and designers.
The expected launch date of the New Amber Park Condo is in April 2019.
